TK and Kindergarten Teacher Academy
This six-part professional learning series is designed to support brand-new transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten teachers and seasoned educators transitioning into the TK and Kindergarten setting. The course explores the core principles and practices that shape effective, developmentally-informed TK and Kindergarten instruction. Participants will gain practical knowledge and strategies to create rich, engaging environments that foster both academic and social-emotional growth for young learners.
This course aligns with teacher induction requirements, ensuring that participants gain both foundational and practical knowledge in the early childhood education field, specifically geared towards the unique needs of TK and Kindergarten educators.
*Participants must attend each monthly session to be eligible for six Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Sonoma State University, which are available for an additional fee.
