Equity in Action: Quality Instruction, Intervention, and Testing Accessibility for Multilingual Learners
This session addresses high-quality Tier 1 instruction using UDL principles with an equity-centered approach. Participants will review testing accessibility options including universal supports, designated supports, and accommodations, explore the ISAAP and Student Needs Matching Tools, and examine domain exemption scenarios. This session will also provide an overview of the MTSS framework with Tier 2 and 3 intervention examples for multilingual learners and discuss ongoing data review strategies to inform intervention decisions and ensure equitable learning experiences for every student.
This session is appropriate for educators, administrators, and service providers of all levels of expertise.
District and site teams are highly encouraged to attend.
