Drawing the Line: Art and Uncomfortable Conversations

This offering is being provided by Luther Burbank Center for the Arts.
Registration opens August 13, 2025.

This transformative art workshop invites participants to explore how creativity can serve as a powerful tool for engaging with difficult topics. Through guided drawing exercises, group reflection, and dialogue. Drawing the Line encourages honest expression and fosters courageous conversations around race, identity, equity, and personal truth. Participants will use visual storytelling to confront discomfort, challenge assumptions, and cultivate empathy in a safe, creative space. No formal art experience is necessary—just a willingness to show up, speak up, and draw the line between silence and expression.
