Suicide Risk Screening Practice Group
The Suicide Risk Screening Practice Group is intended as a forum for practicing school-based counselors, psychologists, and clinicians to gain experience in conducting suicide risk screenings.
Topics will include universal screening tools, risk assessment tools, best practices for conducting assessments, and resource connections/follow-up procedures.There will be an emphasis on actual risk assessment practice, and participants will receive feedback, coaching, and guidance from peers in hypothetical and real-life practice scenarios.The practice group will meet on October 10, 2025 and February 24, 2026.
